| 1972 Volkswagen Beetle - The VW Beetle was introduced to the USA in 1949. (Only a few cars sold). By the mid-1950's the "Bug" could be seen nearly everywhere. Production ended in USA in 1974 but continued on in Mexico and other countries. Beetles were still being produced as the 20th century ended. |
