CORVETTE horsepower by model year.  1957 through 1961 there were five engine options each model year. Four engine options in 1962 and 1964.
1953 Blue Flame six - 150 horsepower. Mated to a 2 speed automatic
LS1 LS-1 Introduced 1997 at 345 horsepower, 350 cubic inches  LS1 increased to 350 horsepower 2001
LS6 350 Cubic Inch 385 Horsepower introduced 2001 compression ratio 10.1 to 10
LT4 350 cubic inch has 10.8 to 1 compression ratio and 345 horsepower.  Base engine LT1 remains same for 1996. . LT4 is downgrade of LT5 compression ratio of 11 to 1 and 405 horsepower
1993 LT5 boosted to 405 horsepower with same 11 to 1 compression ratio.  LT-5 at 405 horsepower remains 1993 to 1995
LT5 375 Horsepower from 350 cubic inches at 11 to 1 compression ratio.  375 horsepower at 5800 rpm. LT-5 top power choice in 1992 as BK2 is dropped
BK2 in 1988 had 382 horsepower. This is Callaway Engineering twin turbo-charged engine. Callaway performed actual conversion although Chevy offered it as factory option B2K
Callaway twin turbo as Chevrolet option B2K for 1988 and 1989 makes 382 horsepower. 1990 boosts to 390 horsepower and 1991 tops out at 403 horsepower.
L98 base engine 1984 to 1991 L-98 grows from 205 horsepower to 245 horsepower in 1991. L98 5 hp higher in coupes with 3.07 rear axle ratio and convertibles with 2.73 rear axle ratio
L82 top option engine 1975 through 1980. 205 hp L82 in 1975, slight horsepower increases in L82 each year except 1976-1977 remained at 210 hp
L48 350 cubic inch 300 hp 1971 base engine. L48 shrinks to 200 hp 1972, L48 base engine until 1979. 1980 L48 IS 190 hp option over base LG4 180 horsepower.
LG4 only corvette at 305 cubic inches. LG4 180 is base engine. L48 base of previous years is 10 hp option for 1980
LT1 350 cubic inch mid range optional power 1970 370 hp, 1971 350 hp, 1972 255 hp.  LT1 reappears 1992 as base engine until 1996
L82 250 hp mid option 350 ci 1973 & 1974 L82
LS6 detuned 270 horsepower 454 cubic inch for 1972. LS4 454 cubic inch 275 hp 1973, LS4 270 horsepower 1974
Six engine 1969 Base and L46 350 ci 300 hp & 350 hp, four 427 cubic inch 390 400, 430 435 horsepower. L89 is aluminum head variant. L88 horsepower rating actually higher than 430 hp. First use of 350 cubic engine in Corvette
LS5 454 cubic inch 390 hp 1970 & 1971. LS6 454 ci 425 hp 1971
1967 1968 six engine options. Base and 327 cubic inch at 300 hp and 350 hp. Four 427 cubic inch blocks L36 390 HP, L68 400 HP, L71 435 HP, L88 430 HP. L88 actual horsepower much higher.  L89 aluminium head 427 also exceeds 430 hp
